How to Make Greek Pasta Salad

Greek salad is one of my favourite salads, so when I felt like eating pasta salad, I decided to make it a Greek pasta salad! It is so easy to make and will keep for a few days in the fridge. It’s also great for parties or the perfect accompaniment for a simple meal. See below, how to make Greek pasta salad!

Ingredients:

2 cups of your favourite pasta, cooked and drained. I usually rinse it in cold water to cool it off faster, then drain it really well before putting it into a large mixing bowl.

1 chopped tomato

1 julienned green pepper

1/2 of a thinly sliced red onion

1 cup of crumbled feta

1/2 cup of black olives

1/4 of a cucumber sliced into circles that are cut into quarters

3 tbsp. olive oil

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. pepper

1 tbsp. Italian seasoning

Instructions:

To make the Greek pasta salad, simply cook and drain 2 cups of your favourite pasta. I usually rinse it in cold water to cool it off faster, then drain it really well before putting it into a large mixing bowl.

Next, add 1 chopped tomato, 1 julienned green pepper, 1/2 of a thinly sliced red onion, 1 cup of crumbled feta, 1/2 cup of black olives and 1/4 of a cucumber sliced into circles that are cut into quarters.

Pour in enough olive oil (about 3 tbsp.) to coat everything and mix well.

Add salt, pepper and Italian seasoning to taste and mix again.

This pasta salad is so flexible and depending on your own preference, you can add as much or as little of each ingredient as you would like. I skipped the olives in this time around, because my kids don’t like them!

Enjoy!
